Konig Self-Tensioning Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2022 Mazda CX-9

Hey, everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Konig XG-12 Pro Self-Tensioning Tire Chains on our 2022 Mazda CX-9 using tire size P255/50R20. Now, reading over the Mazda owner manual before we we're looking into these tire chains, we did discover that there are two different tire sizes offered for the CX-9. Now, the owner's manual only recommend the tire chains to be used on our other size, so if you do live in an area of high snow and ice, we would recommend maybe looking into swapping out your tires. However, we did discover that the tire chains do fit on this tire size here today, but either way, the owner's manual does instruct us to use them on our front axle. Taking a little bit closer look at our chain, we can see that our links are going to be made out of the manganese nickel alloy, it means that they're just going to be very corrosion resistant and be able to stand up to multiple years of uses across those weather conditions. more

Konig Standard Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2022 Mazda CX-9- Video

Konig Standard Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2022 Mazda CX-9

Hey everybody, Cooper here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Konig XB-16 assisted tension tire chains on our 2022 Mazda CX9. Just a quick disclaimer, we did look into the Mazda owner's manual when determining tire chains for our tires here today and we found that the tire size 255/50 R20 is actually not recommended for tire chains in the Mazda owner's manual, the other tire size available is so if you live in a area with high snow and ice, it is recommended possibly for you to change over your tires but we have found that if you just need tire chains in sense of emergency that these are going to fit just fine. Either way, regardless of your tire size, we are going to install them on our front axle. Taking a closer look into our chains we can see that they are made up of these square links here which are just going to be a bit more aggressive and help break up that snow and ice a lot easier. The chain overall does make a diamond pattern around our wheel, which just helps us with that side to side motion when driving not really increasing or decreasing any of our starting or stopping power. more

Titan Alloy Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2013 Mazda CX-9- Video

Titan Alloy Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2013 Mazda CX-9

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2013 Mazda CX-9, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains, part number TC2317. The tire size we're gonna be working with today is 245/60R18. What I really like about these tire chains is that they're very quick and easy to install thanks to this color-coded system right here, and they're also gonna be self-tensioning meaning we don't have to purchase any type of rubber adjuster to make sure our chains are snug against our tire. It's all gonna be contained right in here. These chains feature a diamond pattern rather than a ladder pattern, and that's gonna provide you with more coverage around your tire and give you much better traction while you're traveling down the road. The square links right here are gonna dig into that snow and ice and give you great traction during starts, stops, and turns. The maximum speed rating for these tire chains is 30MPH, and they come in a set of two with this nice carrying case which is gonna make for easier storage. These are an SAE Class S set of chains which means they're gonna be made for vehicles with low wheel well clearance like our Mazda here. The first thing you want to do before installing your chains is to lay them out flat like this and make sure there's no kinks, twists, or tangles in the chain. more

Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2016 Mazda CX-9- Video

Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains Installation - 2016 Mazda CX-9

Today on our 2016 Mazda CX9, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Titan chain alloy snow tire chains, part number TC2324. That's tire size 255-50-R20. These Titan snow tire chains feature a diamond pattern, rather than a ladder pattern, so they're going to give you more tire coverage, which means more traction. They feature small square links, so they're going to give you superior grip on snow and ice. Since they're small, they're going to provide you with a lot smoother ride, than chains with larger links. What differentiates these chains from the rest, is one, you don't have to worry about driving on them to get them connected. You also don't have to worry about reaching around and trying to connect them that way. Most chains require a rubber adjuster or an additional part to help keep them tight and snug around the tire. The integrated adjuster here, eliminates the need. more
